About
Joe Murphy is a Massachusetts attorney who represents individuals and small businesses in matters involving personal injury, criminal defense, and business disputes.
Before founding his practice, Joe worked at an Am Law 100 firm litigating complex commercial matters involving construction projects, partnership conflicts, restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation, contract and tort claims, and the defense of companies in actions brought under G.L. c. 93A and other consumer protection statutes.
Before entering the legal profession, Joe served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, leading logistics teams in the United States and overseas in support of both conventional and special operations units. He later worked with a human performance company supporting fire, police, and other first responders across the country.

Joe grew up outside of Boston and his first job was working as a maintenance worker at an apartment complex in Hyde Park. He is a graduate of Catholic Memorial, the College of the Holy Cross, and Suffolk University Law School. The relationships he formed attending those schools, and serving with fellow Marines—along with his big-firm litigation training—shape the disciplined and practical approach he brings to representing clients.
Outside of his practice, Joe enjoys strength training, reading, and keeping up with Boston sports, especially the Bruins and Patriots.
